Homeless family, head of household must be 18 years of age or older with accompanying dependent children or be pregnant in the last trimester of pregnancy.

Offers emergency shelter for families with children or pregnant women. Clients stay is on a case by case basis which involves 30-day evaluation of client's progress to become self-sufficient. Services include: basic needs, case management, referrals, money management, benefit and housing advocacy. Offers a variety of volunteer opportunities.

GRIP is an interfaith, interracial coalition of congregations - Christians, Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Muslims and Sikh - working to end family homelessness in West Contra Costa County.
