Description
Provides non-medical in-home respite care for people with developmental disabilities, an illness, a physical disability or impairment that requires care in the home giving family members a break from the unique demands of caring for someone who is disabled or are disabled themselves. The care providers assist in all the tasks necessary to help a disabled or impaired person to stay in their home including activities that stimulate the mind and enhance physical well-being. Bay Respite Care administers two different respite programs: Full-Service Respite and Self-Service Respite. Only the Full-service Respite program is available in Contra Costa County.
