Provides telephone crisis counseling, grief counseling, suicide prevention services, including response to the National Suicide Prevention 988 Lifeline, also known as 800-273-TALK and 800-SUICIDE. Provides information and referral to community programs. Answers all after-hours calls to Contra Costa County Child Protective Services and Contra Costa County Adult Protective Services. Clients can call or text HOPE to 20121 to reach a crisis counselor 24 hours daily.
