Administration for Contra Costa County Housing Authority. Administers Project-based Voucher (PBV) waiting lists. Waiting list for project based voucher will open June 12, 2023 at 10am and will close June 29, 2023 at 4pm. Some properties are for senior ONLY and some are for families. Applications must be submitted online however, elderly or disabled clients can request reasonable accommodation by telephone, email or in person. Reasonable accommodation requests can be made to the backdoor number.

Public housing is handled by the Housing Authority Oakley, Pittsburg, North Richmond or Rodeo offices. The Central Wait List handles the public housing wait list and Section 8 housing wait list.

The Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program is currently closed to new entries. Clients pay a portion of their income in rent to their landlords and the City of Pittsburg Housing Authority through funding from the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) pays the difference.
