Bullying Prevention | Prevention Program - Community Violence Solutions

Provides in-school violence prevention programming and develops peer leadership at all grade levels, through classroom-based services delivered over multiple sessions, and also in ongoing, gender-specific small groups. Age-appropriate topics range from bullying prevention and safe touching, to bystander education, to dating violence, sexual assault and sexual exploitation. Offers self-defense training for women and girls. The Prevention team also works with college campuses to prevent sexual violence, and is available for community training on these topics.

Administers the federal government website which provides information from various government agencies on what bullying is, what cyberbullying is, who is at risk, and how you can prevent and respond to bullying. Coordinates closely with the Federal Partners in Bullying Prevention Steering Committee, an effort led by the Department of Education that works to coordinate policy, research, and communications on bullying topics. Website has a link to resources with extensive information.
