Provides intensive, disability specific educational services for enrolled students who are blind, visually impaired, deaf/blind, and visually impaired/multi-disabled. Whose primary learning needs are related to their visual impairment. Offers a school based day program for blind and visually impaired individuals ages 7-22, a residential program for ages 9-22 and a transition program for ages 16-22. Referrals for admission to CSB must be made by the student's school district or SELPA in conjunction with the student's family.

Supports child care programs by facilitating and increasing access to care. Provides technical support and assistance to center staff and family child care providers to facilitate a child's transition into a new child care program. Network for providers, and trained Resource and Referral Counselors assist parents of children with special needs in the search for child care.
