Vision Screening

Eye Surgery | Lions Eye Foundation of California-Nevada, Inc.

Provides free surgical eye care for those individuals with no insurance and limited incomes. All clients must have a doctors referral. Areas covered include diagnostic testing, eye surgical care and eye medications. All services are performed in San Francisco at California Pacific Medical Center. The Foundation does not provide for routine eye exams, eye glasses, contact lenses or low vision aids.

Provides education, information, socialization and services for visually impaired or blind individuals. Provides home visits to assist those with reduced vision in coping with the problems of daily living, and support groups in El Cerrito and Pittsburg. Offers an adult day program at site Tuesdays. Provides free Early Detection program at various sites; service is free for adults. Provides referrals to eye exams and glasses at low cost or no cost for individuals with no vision insurance coverage and individuals on Medicare.
