Acts as the liaison between a pregnant woman and the services needed to provide the child a healthy start and the mother a healthy pregnancy. Coordinates initial prenatal appointment and referrals to programs for pregnant women i.e. WIC. Makes referrals as needed, offers genetic counseling, prenatal testing, brief counseling on substance abuse issues and community outreach.

Services include assessment, treatment planning, addiction education, individual and group counseling, addictive family system education, pre-vocational skill building, specialized women's issues and health groups, parent education, child enrichment services and other perinatal related services.

Provides outpatient methadone and buprenorphine detoxification, outpatient methadone and buprenorphine maintenance, individual and group counseling and addiction services for adult opiate addicted population age 18+, pregnant women and HIV with opiate addiction. Also provides self-help groups such as Methadone Anonymous.

Program includes a 30-90 day residential substance abuse treatment, an ongoing alcohol recovery program, one-on-one planning for recovery from alcohol and drug problems, and AA/NA meetings. The center is licensed and certified by the State of California, offering a social model alcohol detoxification program. Provides residential treatment program for women and pregnant women in the first two trimesters of pregnancy with alcohol and drug-related problems and education and supportive recovery services. Two detox beds available.
