Provides resources for relatives raising the child of a family member who need assistance with meeting basic needs. Connection with community resources will occur prior to providing the family with assistance from the program.

Offers food, clothing and rent assistance through available grant process when resources allow. Vouchers for furniture are also available for those that can drive to thrift stores located in either Pittsburg or Pleasant Hill.

Operates the Antioch Unified School district's public schools and adult education center. The district has fourteen elementary schools, four middle schools, five high schools, nine alternative schools, three charter schools and an adult education program. Programs and classes are available for special education students; call for information.

Offers a range of programs for young people in West Contra Costa County to promote healthy pro-social behaviors that will lead to a healthy productive adulthood. Health education school-based programs include after-school programs, peer education, psycho-education support groups, and case management.

Provides free services related to child care to parents/guardians and child care professionals in Central Contra Costa County. Services include assistance with finding and selecting child care and family resources, guidance and support applying for subsidized child care, technical assistance to child care professionals, child care needs assessment upon request, and parent education opportunities.

Provides free surgical eye care for those individuals with no insurance and limited incomes. All clients must have a doctors referral. Areas covered include diagnostic testing, eye surgical care and eye medications. All services are performed in San Francisco at California Pacific Medical Center. The Foundation does not provide for routine eye exams, eye glasses, contact lenses or low vision aids.

Provides a wide variety of computer classes for adults, from beginner to more advanced. Check website or call for current catalog. Classes are held at Pleasant Hill Education Center, One Santa Barbara Road, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523 and the Loma Vista campus.

Acts as the liaison between a pregnant woman and the services needed to provide the child a healthy start and the mother a healthy pregnancy. Coordinates initial prenatal appointment and referrals to programs for pregnant women i.e. WIC. Makes referrals as needed, offers genetic counseling, prenatal testing, brief counseling on substance abuse issues and community outreach.

Provides services for deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind and deafened persons, parents of deaf children and people learning sign language or working with the deaf. Services include peer counseling, independent living skills, communication coping skills, interpreter information and referral, employment assistance, and programs for specific populations such as foreign born and seniors.

Provides 15 to 20 pounds of fresh produce two times per month to qualifying households that are in need of food assistance. Produce is distributed from the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano Mobile Trucks.

Offers parenting classes in various schools of Contra Costa and at the center as well as court ordered parenting programs. Childcare is provided for children 2+.
