Provides a broad range of services to adults with psychiatric disabilities. Issues include, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, anxiety, relationship conflict, developmental concerns, prescription management, family communication and parenting issues. We offer two programs: Contra Costa Outpatient Pittsburg and Community Support Program (CSP). Outpatient offers services for mild and moderate psychiatric disabilities including weekly individual and group psychotherapy. CSP offers intensive services for severe psychiatric disabilities including case management, medication management, 24/7 hour crisis line, individual/group/family psychotherapy, housing/education/vocational support, peer support, and dual diagnosis treatment.

Provides a wide variety of health care services for women that include free pap smears, breast exams, birth control and STD/HIV testing to all women who qualify.

Provides child and family therapy to support healthy attachment and healing for families after trauma. Available to families with children birth to 6 who have Contra Costa Medical. Offers home visiting or office visits, services available in English, Spanish, Portuguese. Language translation services available for other languages.

Provides online affordable housing list for low-income families with dependent children, seniors, disabled individuals, HIV/AIDS diagnosed individuals, transitional individuals, and combinations of each. If an individual is interested in a specific complex they should call the phone number on the list and ask to speak to the on-site manager who knows the availability of units, rent prices, income limits, etc. The County does not choose tenants for each unit. List of Affordable Housing can be mailed to clients without access to the internet.

Provides 15 to 20 pounds of fresh produce two times per month to qualifying households that are in need of food assistance. Produce is distributed from the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano Mobile Trucks.

Offers sliding scale mediation services to help individuals find mutually fair and lasting solutions to conflict and disputes between neighbors, landlords and tenants, merchants, consumers, employees and employers in Contra Costa. It is an informal service that will not result in court or police records. Panel hearings are normally held within 14 days from time of request, with sessions scheduled at the convenience of participants. Mediators are trained volunteer community members.

Supports individuals with ADHD by offering online webcasts, weekly e-newsletter, and online community for quetions and answers. Offers ADHD Helpline with Health Information Specialists who respond to public inquiries, via telephone or the website.

Provides needs based services which may include; food, utility and financial assistance, and vouchers for clothing that can be used in lieu of cash at St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores for discounted clothing and furniture.

Provides a support group for parents of children with Down Syndrome where parents can exchange information, share common experiences and be encouraged by other parents with similar issues and concerns.

Provides community-based comprehensive range of intensive support services and housing referrals in Contra Costa County for transition age young adults ages 16 - 25 that have significant mental health issues and are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. This includes young adults who are currently undocumented immigrants. TAY's purpose is to help youth to be able to achieve their individualized, recovery-focused goals and to be able to function as self-sufficiently as possible within their homes and communities. The program supports youth with accessing a variety of housing referrals. TAY is a collaborative partnership of the Fred Finch Youth Center, Contra Costa Youth Continuum of Services, Greater Richmond Interfaith Program's and The Latina Center, as well as Contra Costa County Mental Health Services.

Offers a family meeting setting to facilitate reuniting recently incarcerated individuals with family, friends and community. Offers an array of supportive services to help rebuild relationships.

Offers an evidence-based long-term home visiting program that helps mothers with their first child. Due to the pandemic all visits are held online. Partners mothers with Public Health Nurses early in their pregnancy and offers two to four home visits per month that continue through her child’s second birthday. Public Health Nurses provide education to help women develop positive health behaviors during (and after) pregnancy, parenting education to support child health, development, and safety. Offer nursing assessments for early identification and monitoring of maternal and infant health status, encourages self-sufficiency by supporting parents attainment of their education and employment goals. Promotes supportive relationships among family and friends makes referrals to health and social service resources, in addition to care coordination with health and social service providers.

Offers one-stop center for people affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse and human trafficking. Center helps people in crisis to find hope, safety, and healing by being a one-stop center where many service providers are readily available including connections to telehealth appointments, mental health counseling and more.
