Provides needs based services for Pinole residents which may include; utility and financial assistance, and vouchers for clothing that can be used in lieu of cash at St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores for discounted clothing and furniture.

Records and loans educational tapes for readers with visual disabilities or physical or learning disabilities that make it difficult to read books. The library carries over 65,000 recordings, ranging from fourth grade through post-graduate and professional texts, also classics and other books. Clients can also provide their own books to be taped by volunteers. Complex materials, such as law and medical books or computer manuals, require specialized readers and a significant amount of time. Provides downloadable AudioPlus books for over 65,000 books.

Provides mental health/wraparound/psychiatry services to children and youth ages 5 through 18 who are West Contra Costa residents, including early intervention for children, birth to 5.

Provides educational information and listing of support groups, treatment services and services dedicated to alleviating the problems of eating disorders, especially anorexia nervosa and bulimia. The website contains extensive information.

Provides routine and preventive health care services including, family practice, adult medicine, pediatrics, immunizations, prenatal care, women's health, laboratory by appointment, patient education, group classes and minor procedures. Care coordinators relay messages to doctors and assist patients with specialty referrals. Patients can reach their doctor's care coordinator by dialing backdoor number or care coordinator direct line.

Provides 15-20 pounds of fresh produce two times per month to qualifying households that are in need of food assistance. Produce is distributed from the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano Mobile Trucks in the apartment complex parking lot.

The Hotline is a program of Polaris, a non-profit, non-governmental organization working exclusively on the issue of human trafficking. The Hotline is not a government entity, law enforcement, or an immigration authority.

The Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program is currently closed to new entries. Clients pay a portion of their income in rent to their landlords and the City of Pittsburg Housing Authority through funding from the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) pays the difference.

Provides a a virtual service where teens and young adults can get confidential one-to-one support sessions via video, audio or chat from a peer mentor of choice. Mentors are individuals who share clients identity, background, and/or lived experiences, and has been trained to help others going through something similar. Mentors (ages 18-35) come from very diverse backgrounds (over 50% identify as LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC) and have firsthand experience with a wide range of mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to addiction, trauma, eating disorders, evolving gender/sexual identity and more. Also offers peer-led group sessions on selected topics.
