Assists families living with a family member with a severe emotional disorder. Uses evidence based techniques to address behaviors and developmental stages while teaching the family coping skills and how to better connect with their family member.

Provides low-income men and women in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties with quality business clothing appropriate for job interviews and the professional workplace as well as career development support. Each client receives two interviewing outfits for interviews and a working wardrobe when jobs are obtained. Provides housing counseling services, including confidential mortgage default and delinquency counseling to families who are in danger of losing their homes through foreclosure or eviction. Does not provide rental assistance nor filing paperwork for eviction but presents option on how to respond to eviction notice. Offers mediation of tenant/landlord disputes, referrals to tenant organizations, tenant/landlord rights, legal counseling, and fair housing counseling. Offers a one day workshop for parents and teens on issues around drugs and alcohol. Class topics include the physiology of drug and alcohol use, laws, consequences and family communication and relationships. Parents and teens attend together.
