Services include assistance with finding and selecting child care and family resources, guidance and support applying for subsidized child care, technical assistance to child care professionals, child care needs assessment upon request, and parent education opportunities.

Offers a range of programs for young people in West Contra Costa County to promote healthy pro-social behaviors that will lead to a healthy productive adulthood. Health education school-based programs include after-school programs, peer education, psycho-education support groups, and case management.

Provides emergency shelter stay. Services include, meals, case management, spiritual counseling. Accepts walk-ins until 5pm.

Assists families living with a family member with a severe emotional disorder. Uses evidence based techniques to address behaviors and developmental stages while teaching the family coping skills and how to better connect with their family member.

Provides students in grades K-12 with alternative educational programs small high schools, home schooling for students who cannot attend a regular program due to medical situations, continuation schools, summer programs, and after-school programs. Call the Alternative Education Department for information on available services for a specific age and need. Offers supportive services to pregnant or parenting teens attending alternative education schools.

Provides a a virtual service where teens and young adults can get confidential one-to-one support sessions via video, audio or chat from a peer mentor of choice. Mentors are individuals who share clients identity, background, and/or lived experiences, and has been trained to help others going through something similar. Mentors (ages 18-35) come from very diverse backgrounds (over 50% identify as LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC) and have firsthand experience with a wide range of mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to addiction, trauma, eating disorders, evolving gender/sexual identity and more. Also offers peer-led group sessions on selected topics.
