Administration for Contra Costa County Housing Authority. Administers Project-based Voucher (PBV) waiting lists. Waiting list for project based voucher will open March 2, 2026 at 10am and will close March 19, 2026 at 4pm. Some properties are for senior ONLY and some are for families. Applications must be submitted online however, elderly or disabled clients can request reasonable accommodation by telephone, email or in person. Offers Covid testing and vaccination appointments. Clinic offers diapers, formula, baby clothing, baby strollers, basinets, all dependent on donations.

Provides services for deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind and deafened persons, parents of deaf children and people learning sign language or working with the deaf. Services include peer counseling, independent living skills, communication coping skills, interpreter information and referral, employment assistance, and programs for specific populations such as foreign born and seniors.

Works to improve and expand services to people with developmental disabilities and their families. Provides hotline runaway and homeless youth offering shelter options, mediation, information and referral, and phone or in-person counseling. Provides free, immediate help to youth ages 0-17, including immediate housing in a foster home, crisis counseling, family mediation, transportation and referrals. Center is a Safe Place site. If a longer stay is needed, the youth would likely be placed in a foster home for shelter. SAFE Place is not a long-term shelter.

Offers sliding scale mediation services to help individuals find mutually fair and lasting solutions to conflict and disputes between, family members, elders, HOA's/neighborhood associations, landlords and tenants, merchants, consumers, employees and employers in Contra Costa. It is an informal service that will not result in court or police records. Mediators are trained volunteer community members.

Provides domestic violence intervention which consists of crisis and peer counseling, risk assessment, safety planning, domestic violence education, court accompaniment, legal advocacy and referrals, peer support groups and other related support resources for the clients and their family. STAND! has offices in Central, East and West counties, as well as services and shelters at confidential locations. Volunteers are used extensively.

Provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging preschool environment where children can grow and thrive. Program supports early childhood development through age-appropriate learning experiences, creative play, and caring guidance. Preschool also focuses on developing essential skills in early literacy & language, math/problem solving, social and emotional growth, self expression, and physical coordination/motor skills.

Provides routine and preventive health care services including family practice, dermatology, gastroenterology, gynecology, high risk obstetrics, internal medicine, podiatry, surgery, pediatrics, prenatal, and women's health. Care coordinators relay messages to doctors and assist patients with medical concerns. Clients can reach their doctor's care coordinator by dialing the backdoor number and leave a message.

Provides van service for Lamorinda seniors and people with disabilities. Lamorinda Spirit Van picks up riders at their home and provides rides to appointments, errands and shopping in Concord, Lafayette, Orinda, Lamorinda, Martinez, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek.
