Provides respite (planned break) to: resource (foster) parents, to a limited number of Contra Costa County kin and fictive kin caregivers with a non-dependent Contra Costa County child, and biological parents with a child eligible for services through Regional Center of the East Bay. The purpose of respite is to provide occasional, planned child care breaks to families in order to relieve some of the stress and responsibility that full-time care giving of children with special needs brings. Three types of respite care are available: in the family home, in the home of a licensed provider, or at selected sites in the community.

TAY's purpose is to help youth to be able to achieve their individualized, recovery-focused goals and to be able to function as self-sufficiently as possible within their homes and communities. The program supports youth with accessing a variety of housing referrals. TAY is a collaborative partnership of the Fred Finch Youth Center, Contra Costa Youth Continuum of Services, Greater Richmond Interfaith Program's and The Latina Center, as well as Contra Costa County Mental Health Services.

The library carries over 65,000 recordings, ranging from fourth grade through post-graduate and professional texts, also classics and other books. Clients can also provide their own books to be taped by volunteers. Complex materials, such as law and medical books or computer manuals, require specialized readers and a significant amount of time. Provides downloadable AudioPlus books for over 65,000 books.

Offers mental health brief therapy (16 sessions) to support clients who have experienced a traumatic event or who have had a loved one who experienced a traumatic event, including, but not limited to, domestic violence, community violence, and sexual assault.

Provides outpatient counseling services, specializing in the treatment of children and families, as well as individual and couple counseling for problems that may include behavior disorders, school avoidance, abuse, family conflicts, marital conflict, depression and adjustment problems, parent child interaction therapy. Offers one-stop center for people affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse and human trafficking. Center helps people in crisis to find hope, safety, and healing by being a one-stop center where many service providers are readily available including connections to telehealth appointments, mental health counseling and more.
