Provides domestic violence intervention which consists of crisis and peer counseling, risk assessment, safety planning, domestic violence education, court accompaniment, legal advocacy and referrals, peer support groups and other related support resources for the clients and their family. STAND! has offices in Central, East and West counties, as well as services and shelters at confidential locations. Volunteers are used extensively.

Provides shelter/services for battered women or battered women with children up to the age of 18 who are in danger and have no other resources. Services include legal assistance including obtaining restraining orders, counseling, and assistance in locating housing and employment. The maximum length of stay is 90 days. Non-shelter clients can make an appointment to see a domestic violence crisis counselor.

Distributes Eyes of Hope gift certificates to low-income children through VSP's network of community partners. Parents and guardians interested in seeking assistance through the Eyes of Hope program must work through the VSP Provider. VSP does not issue gift certificates directly to the public. The local providers are listed on the website. School nurse and some youth programs may have applications and be able to provide assistance.

Immunization clinics offer: All doctor-recommended and school-required vaccines, COVID-19 vaccine, Mpox vaccine, and Flu vaccine.

Provides telephone crisis counseling, grief counseling, suicide prevention services, including response to 800-273-TALK and 800-SUICIDE. Provides information and referral to community programs. Answers all after-hours calls to Contra Costa County Child Protective Services and Contra Costa County Adult Protective Services. Provides individual and group grief support and counseling to adults and children mourning the death of a loved one.
