Works with county mental health as a bridge between the system and explaining to families who are dealing with a family member 18+ and dealing with behavioral health issues. Services include assisting families in navigating the mental health system, answers questions regarding SSI and SSDI problems, benefits questions, rehabilitation programs, day programs, county housing resources, out of the county placements, and medication issues. Therapy and psychiatrist referrals in both the private and public systems. Meets with families within the county mental health system of care.

Helps families and individuals apply for CalFresh, a public benefit program formerly known as Food Stamps. Educates families on the eligibility process and helps them navigate the application. Clients can call to complete application by phone.

Therapeutic treatment is specific to the family's needs and allows parents to engage and to learn how to better support their infant. Helps promote positive social interaction.

Other specialties include high and low-risk obstetrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, rehabilitation, neurosciences, cardiac, emergency, neonatal intensive care unit, trauma and cancer care.

Provides a broad range of individual and group psychotherapy and prescription management services via an outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) to adults, facing mild, moderate, and severe psychiatric disabilities. If a longer stay is needed, the youth would likely be placed in a foster home for shelter. SAFE Place is not a long-term shelter.

Offers assistance is to help prevent homelessness for households at immediate risk of becoming homeless, once every two years. Program provides limited financial assistance to eligible applicants for housing-related expenses. Assistance may be available for up to one month of rental arrears (back rent) for households that can demonstrate the ability to maintain ongoing housing costs after receiving support. Security deposit assistance may also be available for individuals or families who are relocating due to an unexpected or urgent situation, with requests required to be submitted within 30 days before or after the move-in date. This program does not provide assistance for more than one month of back rent, future or advance rent payments, late fees, or utility bills. Individuals requiring assistance beyond these limitations are encouraged to contact 211 for additional resources.

Behavioral health services include psychiatry, short-term individual and family therapy, support groups, and crisis management and referral into long-term treatment for children and adults.

Provides temporary shelter for homeless families in a safe, supportive environment including a shelter for single fathers with kids.
