Provides a broad range of services to adults with psychiatric disabilities. Issues include, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, anxiety, relationship conflict, developmental concerns, prescription management, family communication and parenting issues. We offer two programs: Contra Costa Outpatient Pittsburg and Community Support Program (CSP). Outpatient offers services for mild and moderate psychiatric disabilities including weekly individual and group psychotherapy. CSP offers intensive services for severe psychiatric disabilities including case management, medication management, 24/7 hour crisis line, individual/group/family psychotherapy, housing/education/vocational support, peer support, and dual diagnosis treatment.

Supports child care programs by facilitating and increasing access to care. Family recertifications and eligibility will continue. Provides free services related to child care to parents/guardians and child care professionals in Central Contra Costa County. Services include assistance with finding and selecting child care and family resources, guidance and support applying for subsidized child care, technical assistance to child care professionals, child care needs assessment upon request, and parent education opportunities.

Provides prenatal care, pill abortion services, birth control services, emergency contraception, HIV testing, HPV vaccines, LGBT services, men's health services, patient education, pregnancy testing, options & services, STD testing & treatment, and women's health services including breast and cervical cancer exams.

Administers five elementary schools and one middle school in Walnut Creek. Programs and classes are available for special needs children, ages 0-22; call for information.

Provides a variety of programs for families with young children, age 0-5. Information on HMG playgroups and various activities available on website. Offers virtual and in-person parenting classes and workshops and online activities for families such as art, music and more. Clients can meet with a community resource specialist and socialize with other parents. Center offers Kinder Readiness classes, ages and stages questionnaire and virtual HMG playgroup.

Operates a clothing donation program for enrolled members of the center. On specific times during the day, members can drop in and get new/slightly worn clothing. Due to current pandemic center is not accepting clothing donations. However, in partnership with White Pony Express the donation room is stocked for current members.

Acts as the liaison between a pregnant woman and the services needed to provide the child a healthy start and the mother a healthy pregnancy. Coordinates initial prenatal appointment and referrals to programs for pregnant women i.e. WIC. Makes referrals as needed, offers genetic counseling, prenatal testing, brief counseling on substance abuse issues and community outreach.

Offers a variety of activities/sports for children, teens and adults. Classes include, basketball, table tennis, volleyball and soccer. Classes may fill up fast or may be cancelled depending on registration.

Provides a food pantry.

Administers four public high schools, one alternative high school and an adult education department. Programs and classes are available for special education students; call for information.

Provides a variety of medical services including family medicine, women's health, pediatrics, chronic disease management, immunization and HIV testing. There are no prenatal, dental or vision services at this location.

Provides a food pantry for Danville, Alamo, and Blackhawk residents.

Offers summer sports camp, virtual preschool programming, and a variety of classes for children, teens, and adutls including cooking, dance, exercise, martial arts, yoga, tai chi and sports.

Grants clients who are experiencing a financial hardship with partial payment assistance for utility, gas, food, furniture, vehicle registration, drivers license fees and others. Grant amounts vary by emergency and need.

Provides infant-parent support in the family's home or at the We Care clinic in Central Concord. Focuses on attachment-based treatment and strengthening infant-parent relationships to address baby's fussiness, excessive crying, feeding and sleeping issues, and support healthy social and emotional development. Therapeutic treatment is specific to the family's needs and allows parents to engage and to learn how to better support their infant. Helps promote positive social interaction.

Provides a food pantry, social distancing is required when picking up food.

Provides domestic violence intervention which consists of crisis and peer counseling, risk assessment, safety planning, domestic violence education, court accompaniment, legal advocacy and referrals, peer support groups and other related support resources for the clients and their family. STAND! has offices in Central, East and West counties, as well as services and shelters at confidential locations. Volunteers are used extensively.

Provides food and clothing assistance to clients every 6 months.

Provides screening, examination and needed stabilizing treatment, without consideration of insurance coverage or ability to pay, when a patient presents to an emergency room for attention to an emergency medical condition.

Provides needs based services which may include; utility and financial assistance, and vouchers for clothing that can be used in lieu of cash at St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores for discounted clothing and furniture.
