Provides immunization clinics which offer vaccines mainly for community members who don't have health insurance and children eligible for the free Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. Program does not accept private health insurance (i.e. Blue Shield, Kaiser). Patients must contact regular medical provider for vaccines. Immunization clinics offer: All doctor-recommended and school-required vaccines, COVID-19 vaccine, Mpox vaccine, and Flu vaccine.

Provides shelter and counseling for battered women and their children. Counseling for survivors of sexual assault, molestation, and domestic abuse is also provided at the Community Building. Answers a 24-hour crisis phone line for domestic violence survivors, victims of sexual assault or molestation. Line is open to anyone in a threatening or abusive environment and who are not in immediate physical danger. Operates a restraining order clinic and a food pantry for needy families. Provides temporary shelter for homeless families in a safe, supportive environment including a shelter for single fathers with kids.

Provides information on how the Medi-Cal Mental Health Managed Care system works, explains an individual's rights and choices, helps solve problems with getting needed services, assists in communication between parties to help resolve disagreements, requests information on an individual's behalf, and refers individuals to others who may be of assistance.

Provides a food pantry for Danville, Alamo, and Blackhawk residents.

Provides legal services via remote advocacy. Housing, DV Restraining Order and Consumer clinics are all suspended; contact hotlines for assistance. Offers free legal services related to health care access and coverage, including Covered California, public and private insurance and other health care access related issues. Issues included but not limited to: Medi-Cal and Denti-Cal, Medicare, medical debt, IHSS, paratransit services, mental health services and county indigent programs.

Offers one-stop center for people affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse and human trafficking. Center helps people in crisis to find hope, safety and healing by being a one-stop center where many service providers are readily available.

Community-based mental health service program for young adults (16-26) living in Western to Central Contra Costa County. Serve's Medi-Cal recipients who are experiencing mental health challenges often in addition to homelessness, substance use issues or histories of trauma and abuse. Services include therapy, case management, living skills support, medication management, participant groups and peer mentoring.  CCTAY works in close collaboration with Contra Costa County Behavioral Health Services.  

Offers child mental health services for ages 2-19. Provides individual therapy and family therapy for adults and teens. Specializes in children who have complex trauma, attachment issues and/or PTSD. Offers counseling to children or families who are part of the LBGTQ community. Services available in Contra Costa County with offices in Antioch and Martinez.

Provides rental subsidy to the maximum extent allowable to low-income families who are residents of Pittsburg. The City of Pittsburg Housing Authority provides a FREE Unit Listing service for property owners to advertise their vacancies to Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher participants. This service is provided through a separate website by a company called GOsection8. The Housing Choice Voucher (section 8) program is currently closed to new entries.

Provides counseling and police escorts to sexually abused victims through: 24-hour crisis line counseling, in person support, including accompaniment to hospitals, police interviews, and legal proceedings.

Supports child care programs by facilitating and increasing access to care. Family recertifications and eligibility will continue. Provides free services related to child care to parents/guardians and child care professionals in Central Contra Costa County. Services include assistance with finding and selecting child care and family resources, guidance and support applying for subsidized child care, technical assistance to child care professionals, child care needs assessment upon request, and parent education opportunities.

Provides low cost primary health care for adults, teens and children regardless of insurance or immigration status. Services include; immunizations, STD testing, and physicals. Provides comprehensive pregnancy services and well-baby care. In addition to prenatal visits, it includes education and support related to staying healthy during pregnancy, good nutrition, breast feeding, and psycho-social services. Offers Covid testing and vaccination appointments. Clinic offers diapers, formula, baby clothing, baby strollers, basinets, all dependent on donations.

Provides administration over all Concord city parks and recreational activities, aquatic facilities, dog park, and community centers. Offers a variety of classes available for children, teens and adults including art classes, dance, exercise classes, martial arts, sports, music lessons, summer camps and trips. Provides aquatic programs for all ages. Offers year round lap and exercise swimming for adults 18 and over. Accepts donations as scholarship money for low income children's swim lessons.

Provides direct childcare and emergency shelter services and wraparound support. Crisis Day Services offers emergency childcare services for up to 30 days in a 6-month period—60 days per year. A child can attend for the full day or just a couple of hours. Provides crisis residential overnight program in which parents can utilize this service for up to 30 days per crisis situation. Offers respite overnight program for parents experiencing stress, or who have used BACN’s services, can visit the Nursery for short-term monthly visits. These visits range from 1-3 days. Also provides food and diaper bank available to all community members in need of food, diapers, and formula. The BACN Boutique is a fully stocked, free boutique filled with children’s furniture, toys, books, clothes, and more for families participating in a program. Eligible parents may be experiencing a crisis or feel overwhelmed by parenting young children, lost their childcare provider or cannot afford childcare services, dealing with unemployment and underemployment, overwhelming parental stress, homelessness, escaping violence, or are suffering from a mental health disorder or physical illness.

Provides 15 to 20 pounds of fresh produce two times per month to qualifying households that are in need of food assistance. Produce is distributed from the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano Mobile Trucks.

Acts as the liaison between a pregnant woman and the services needed to provide the child a healthy start and the mother a healthy pregnancy. Coordinates initial prenatal appointment and referrals to programs for pregnant women i.e. WIC. Makes referrals as needed, offers genetic counseling, prenatal testing, brief counseling on substance abuse issues and community outreach.
