Offers Mind, Body, and Soul support group to East African American individuals. Host four support groups that meet twice a month on a rotating basis, to follow social distancing. Community health advocates help individuals with health, mental health, and basic needs navigation and assistance.

Coordinates a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), which includes police, prosecutors, CFS, and others to respond to allegations of child abuse (primarily sexual abuse) and to connect families to resources. Conducts developmentally appropriate, recorded forensic interviews with children who are suspected or alleged victims of sexual or physical abuse, and also with child witnesses to these and other crimes. Also offers case management and support services to non-offending family members.

Provides a variety of medical services including family medicine, women's health, pediatrics, chronic disease management, immunizations, health education, HIV testing, optometry services and dental care. Optometry services also available, hours have been expanded; please call for hours and appointments.

Offers a variety of programs including English as a second language, GED test prep, High School Diploma, adult basic education, languages, computer education, arts & crafts, health and fitness, medical programs, photography, job training classes and programs for older adults. Offers traffic violator classes and trades education. Classes are held at different locations in the Richmond area.

Offers limited activities/sports for children, teens and adults. Classes include, badminton, tennis, volleyball, softball, martial arts, karate and soccer. Classes may fill up fast or may be cancelled depending on registration.

Provides BACN Boutique which is a fully stocked, free boutique filled with baby diapers, formula, children’s furniture, toys, books, clothes, and more for families in need.

Offers a centralized system that provides community resource navigation and referral for children with potential developmental, learning or behavioral concerns. Offers early identification and detection of at-risk children and helps families find resources to support their needs and development. Provides information regarding child growth and learning, as well as developmental milestones of each age.

Provides administration over all Concord city parks and recreational activities, aquatic facilities, dog park, and community centers. Offers a variety of classes available for children, teens and adults including art classes, dance, exercise classes, martial arts, sports, music lessons, summer camps and trips. Provides aquatic programs for all ages. Offers year round lap and exercise swimming for adults 18 and over. Accepts donations as scholarship money for low income children's swim lessons. Due to the current pandemic limited in-door and out-door activities and city pool is open for lap swim only.

LIFT (Learning for Infants and Families Together) team for infants to 3. Provides developmental playgroup which includes facilitated and speech play, structured circle-time, snack-time, outside time, 1-2 home visits per month and case management as needed.

Provides outpatient methadone and buprenorphine detoxification, outpatient methadone and buprenorphine maintenance, individual and group counseling and addiction services for adult opiate addicted population age 18+, pregnant women and HIV with opiate addiction. Also provides self-help groups such as Methadone Anonymous; must be a client of BAART for additional counseling and groups.

Provides victims of sexual assault free, confidential services that include a 24/7 National Sexual Assault Hotline, a National Sexual Assault Online Hotline and education for prevention of sexual assault.

Provides emergency treatment, general and pediatric dentistry, children's dental exams, fluoride and sealant treatment, and cleaning and polishing for low-income, uninsured individuals.

Acts as the liaison between a pregnant woman and the services needed to provide the child a healthy start and the mother a healthy pregnancy. Coordinates initial prenatal appointment and referrals to programs for pregnant women i.e. WIC. Makes referrals as needed, offers genetic counseling, prenatal testing, brief counseling on substance abuse issues and community outreach.

Provides academics and career readiness, including job application workshops and support, financial literacy workshops, after school tutoring, California High School Exit Exam preparation and support. Offers a full computer lab on-site with staff who provide job search and resume assistance.

Provides comprehensive low cost general dental care; fees may be 20% lower than those of many private offices in our immediate area. Dental services include fillings, dentures, crowns and bridges, root canals, oral surgery and limited periodontal work. Dental work is performed by students and residents under supervision of the University of Pacific faculty and staff. Services do not include orthodontics, extraction of wisdom teeth or treatment of patients who have had procedures started elsewhere.
